ICE FUN

The beautiful and atmospherically lit ice rink is, of course, the centerpiece of Roosendaal on Ice. Young and old, everyone who can skate or wants to learn is welcome on the ice! At Roosendaal on Ice, you can enjoy free skating, but also take skating lessons, school skating, curling, scribble, and of course, enjoy drinks with friends and colleagues.

To skate

FREE SKATING – ENJOY YOUR OWN LAP…

Just do your own thing while enjoying the cheerful music. And need a break? Then take a break in our warm IceCafé with a delicious hot chocolate.

An entry ticket gives you two hours of access to the ice. You can order tickets online or at the ticket office. A 10-ride pass or a season ticket makes it even easier.

You can enjoy skating around with your friends. If you're having trouble, we have some skating aids to help you get started.

SCRIBBING TRACK

Every day during the free skating times, we have a separate 400m2 scribble track available for the little ones.

They can then experience for themselves how fun and slippery the ice is in peace and quiet. Little ones are allowed on the ice with one adult (wearing shoes). They can use double ice skates, Frisian skates, but also a sled, a doll's pram, a chair, or one of our super fun skating aids; it's all allowed on the scribble track.

FREE SKATING LESSONS

Starting in the 2023/24 season, and therefore also during this edition, Roosendaal on Ice is offering free skating lessons. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to skate, and we're happy to contribute! Under the guidance of a real skating instructor, you'll receive a one-hour lesson in a group of up to two participants. Falling, getting back up, and above all, fun are guaranteed.

Please note : The skating lesson is free, but you do need to purchase an entrance ticket (free skating rate) and possibly skate rental.

Tickets for the skating lessons can be purchased via the "Tickets" button in the menu of our website.

FREE SKATING RATE
The entrance fee is €7.00 for 2 hours of skating.

To access the ice rink, you must scan your ticket at the entrance gate. If you want to regain access after leaving the ice, you will need to reactivate your ticket using the scanner at the service desk.

RENT SKATES AND SKATING AIDS
You can bring your own skates to the ice rink or rent skates for €5.00 for two hours. We have ice hockey skates in all sizes, and for the little ones, we have double-bladed skates that attach to the soles of your shoes. If you or your child has little skating experience, you can use the skating aids on the rink. On the "larger" ice, you can rent skating aids. You can reserve these at our ticket office on-site.

For safety reasons, wearing skis is not permitted and gloves are mandatory.

CURLING

SLIDE THOSE STONES!

Curling is incredibly popular and, according to some, may even become the most popular sport of the 2018 Olympic Games. This winter sport is all about precision, communication, and teamwork. The game is similar to bocce, but played on ice and involves pushing stones instead of throwing balls.

Want to test your skills on the curling rink with colleagues, teammates, friends, or family? Roosendaal on Ice is the place to be.

CURLING RIN RENTAL

Our curling rinks are available for rent in the evenings (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM) for one-hour slots. The cost is €35.00 per hour. Enjoy an hour of sporting activity followed by drinks in our cozy Ice Café. How fun is that?! Reservations can be made via the tickets button in the menu at the top of the website.
