Skating

The cosily lit ice rink is the heart of Roosendaal On Ice. Can you already skate, or do you want to learn? Everyone is welcome on the ice.

Public skating

Just skate your own laps to cheerful music. Need a breather? Take a break in the warm IceCafé with a hot chocolate.

Buy your admission ticket online or at the ticket desk. A 10-visit card or a season pass makes it even easier. Still a bit wobbly? Our skating aids will get you going in no time.

How to get in

  • Online ticket? Exchange it for a wristband on arrival.
  • Bought at the ticket desk? You get a wristband straight away.
  • Scan your wristband at the gate and you’re in.
  • Leaving the ice for a moment? Show your wristband to get back in.

Gloves are compulsory. Forgot yours? You can buy them at the Koek & Zopie.

Toddler rink

During public skating the youngest have their own toddler rink, where they can discover at their own pace how fun and slippery the ice is.

A little one may go on the ice with one companion (in shoes). Double-bladed skates, Frisian skates, a sledge or one of our skating aids: anything goes on the toddler rink.

Free skating lessons

Everyone should be able to learn to skate. That’s why this season we again offer free skating lessons: one hour with a real skating teacher, in a small group. Falling, getting up and above all lots of fun.

The lesson is free; you only buy an admission ticket and rent skates if needed.

Skate rental

Bring your own skates or rent them from us. We have ice hockey skates in all sizes (27 to 52) and, for the little ones, double-bladed skates that strap under your shoes.

Not much skating experience? On the toddler rink you can use the skating aids for free; for the big rink you can rent them at the ticket desk.

Safe on the ice

  • Gloves are compulsory
  • Speed skates (noren) are not allowed
  • Everyone leaves the ice during a resurfacing break
  • Always follow the instructions of our volunteers
